take some 5 biggish potatosss cut them in nice chunks. and take fresh coconut grate it into nice powdery flakes.
take some oil in the pan put some green chilly (cut long) with some curry leaves once u feel the fragrance of leaves add lots of azawain(can get it here in US from Indian stores) (i don't know what its called in English) add the chucks of potatos, salt to taste and the powdery flakes of coconut just cover the pan with lid and let the potato cook in steam for around 10ish minutes
and here you get your nicely smelling coconut potato-i just put some shredded coriander on it and server hotttttttttttt

ReplyDeleteYa this coconut potato i did while we were planing to go Michigan but then changed plan and reached Hansa aunty place one of very strong volunteer :) went there and i took charge of kitchen where i cooked tomato rice (recipe coming soon) and other people were so enthusiastic that they chopped lots of potatoes so aunty told me to do something and these coconut yummiiiiiiiii potatoes come out :) they were really delicious :) everybody loved them :)
